How To Date A Douchebag The Studying Hours

By: Sara Ney

CRUDE. ARROGANT. A**HOLE. No doubt about it, Sebastian 'Oz' Osborne is the university's most celebrated student athlete--and possibly the biggest douchebag. A walking, talking cliche, he has a filthy mouth, a fantastic body, and doesn't give a sh*t about what you or anyone else thinks. SMART. CLASSY. CONSERVATIVE. Make no mistake, Jameson Clarke may be the university's most diligent student--but she is no prude. Spending most of her time in the hallowed halls of the library, James is wary of pervs, jocks, and douchebags--and Oz Osborne is all three. She's smart, sarcastic--and not what he expected. EVERY DOUCHEBAG HAS HIS WEAKNESS. He wants to be friends. He wants to spend time with her. He wants to drive her crazy. He wants...Her.

Four Stars

Jameson is a hard working student who is trying to stay ahead of her assignments. She is focused and determined to make good grades. Oz is the popular jock on campus who can get any girl he wants whenever he wants. One bet leads Oz to Jameson. As their friendship begins to grow, things begin to shift between them. Will Oz always be a douchebag or will he see the error of his ways?

Jameson was an independent, sarcastic, and funny character who stayed true to herself throughout the entire book. She knew who she was, and she wasn't willing to change. "Never judge a girl by her cardigan." Oz was a grade A jerk who did not have any respect for women. He took what they were willing to give him and never looked back. He was also very conceited, "callous, crude, rude, and insensitive". To sum it all up...a douchebag! Don't let those descriptions fool you! Oz does make up for it in other ways!

I really enjoyed this book and found myself laughing throughout many different parts. I loved the slow burn romance from a dual POV. I thought that it allowed you to really understand Oz and why he did some of the things that he did. There is a surprise twist in the middle of the story that I did not see coming. In the end, it makes you love Oz even more.

I am looking forward to reading the second book in this series based on Zeke. He was the worse douchebag of them all in this book, so I'm interested to see how he redeems himself!
