Lost For You
By: Jayne Frost
When I was eighteen, I stood at the precipice of stardom. I had the record deal. And the tour to back it up. But I succumbed to the pressure of that life. The dark side.
Now, I skate on the fringe. My brother is the genius guitarist for the band Caged, and I'm the one who helped make that happen. I'm happy to run my bars and my land development company.
Sure I am.
And then I meet her-- Taryn Ayers-- the music manager behind the three biggest bands in the country. She doesn't know I'm Cam's older brother. Or that I've got a secret that makes her world and mine fundamentally incompatible.
Problem is, I want to know Taryn.
But do I want her to know me?

Four Stars
Chase was a character who tried his best to protect those
around him. He owned up to being an addict and tried to shield that life away
from others. He wanted to save people from that life and not relapse himself.
It took a lot of strength and courage to live through some of the situations
that occurred in Chase’s life.
Taryn is just as strong and is willing to do whatever she
can to keep her friendship with others alive. She usually backs down during
arguments with others to allow them the control they seek, but occasionally,
you will see the backbone of Taryn. They don’t call her T-Rex for nothing!
This is the 4th book in the series, but I didn’t
have any trouble figuring out what was going on during the book. The book is
also told in dual POV so you get to see the inner thinking of both main
characters. I really liked Taryn and Chase, but I would have liked to have seen
more scenes between them outside of the bedroom. They had great chemistry, but it
would have been nice to have seen more day to day interactions, either at the
bar or within the music business setting. I also felt that ending was somewhat
unfinished because it doesn’t tell what happens with a lawsuit that takes place
during the story. This information doesn’t affect the story, but I still felt
like it left me hanging. Maybe leaving room for book #5?
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely read
the first 3 books in the series.
