Let's Get Textual

By: Teagan Hunter

A wrong number is supposed to be just that--a wrong number. Delete. Done. Do no continue to text. Do not flirt. A wrong number shouldn't be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night...and you're definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat. Because that would be weird. When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don't follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he's wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction. I'm not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number. But maybe...Maybe he's the right guy.

Five Stars

Delia is just getting out of a mutual breakup. She isn't looking to jump right back into a relationship. However, she is drawn to the stranger behind the texts. She begins to depend on his daily texts and finds herself smiling at her phone more often than not. Zach is just trying to land a client, but finds Delia's texts fun, crazy, and refreshing. As their texts continue, they find themselves developing feelings for each other. Will Delia become a goat baby mama or will they decide they should have stopped at "wrong number?"

WOW!!! This is the first book I have read by this author and I can definitely say it will not be my last. The texting banter that takes place in this book is hilarious. I found myself laughing more often than not. Delia owned up to her own brand of crazy and never faltered. She knew who she was and had better comebacks than any other character I have every read. Zach was perfectly nerdy and even  had to underwear to prove it. He was super sweet and never cared what anyone thought of him. Even when he was trying to embarrass Delia. I also loved how he talked in "text."

"You've seen my Harry Potter underwear--you know I'm worth it." Then he whispers, "Wink."

I also might have been super jealous when they visit a certain restaurant in the book. I mean who doesn't love ranch. It has to be a staple for every meal. It was then and there that I realized that Zach was my soul book boyfriend. #ranchlovers

The other characters in the book were just as great. Zoe and Caleb had Delia's back and were very supportive throughout the whole book. I can't wait to read the next book. I don't know how I feel about their relationship, but I'm so ready to find out!
