Four Stars
I Dare You was a fun, quick read with witty banter and lovable characters.
Delaney is a sweet, smart heroine who just finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her. She isn't ready to move on yet, but she knows when she is ready, it won't be with another football player.
Maverick is the star football player at Waylon. His goal is the NFL, and he will do anything it takes to get there.
Delaney comes off as a shy, reserved, geeky girl, but once she opens up, she is quirky, smart, and sassy. She takes up for herself and is able to express her feelings and concerns.
Maverick comes off as a playboy at first, but it is only in his description. His actions do not portray him that way. He is caring and supportive of his sister. He has a lot on his plate, and he handles things the best way he knows how.
I love Ilsa's writing, and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for the future.
