Four Stars
Sutton is a broken-hearted widow who knows it is time to
move on with her life. David has been waiting to help Sutton for about a year.
He wants to help her and see her grow and heal.
Sutton is such a brave, wonderful mother and sister. She has
gone through so much in her short life, and she is still putting on a brave
face for others.
David has survived his own heartbreak and knows Sutton will
heal on her own time. He is patient, kind, and loving. He knows just what
Sutton needs even before she realizes that she needs it.
The whole book you knew that secrets being kept were going
to come out and backfire. You cannot start a relationship without being totally
open and honest with one another.
The book ends on a cliffhanger, but I knew that before
reading the book. It is a duet after all! The ending leaves the reader in total
shock, feeling a little betrayed, and wanting all the answers.
I absolutely cannot wait to read the conclusion of Sutton’s
story. Her and David are wonderful together. I just hope they can both heal
enough to truly open up to one another.
