We crashed into each
other like the moth and the flame.
For years, we've been best friends.
I told him all my secrets and I believed I knew his.
In camp, I thought he was the most beautiful boy in the world.
In high-school, I promised him my virginity.
On our first day of college, I had three revelations:
He's a jerk.
He doesn't care.

-----------------------------------------------------
This story was a cute story about a boy and girl who fell in love at summer camp. They promised to write each other until the letters eventually stopped. Several years laters, they meet again at college. Except this time, Oscar is rude and dismissive of Delia.Delia tries to distance herself, but Oscar is everywhere. This is where the story kind of went off course for me.
Oscar is hot and cold all the time. There is a reason, but even when that reason is explained, I still didn't get the distinct feeling he was 100% into the relationship and instead trying to prove a point. I know he was harboring resentment and anger, but I just wasn't feeling the love story angle.
I honestly felt that this story was more of a friendship. The characters grew and learned more about themselves and each other.
I absolutely loved the writing style. I just wish there was more spark and chemistry between the characters. I also wish we learned more during the epilogue about their future. I still feel like I have a lot of unanswered questions.
