Dear Jane,

You’re a princess. I’m a thief. This isn’t a Disney movie. We never had a chance in hell of a happy ending. But I still wish I could have given you one.

When we met, I had you pegged as a snob. All polo and private jets. But you turned out to be the exact opposite. I fell for you the first day we met.

I lied to you about a lot of things. I don’t expect or deserve your forgiveness. You’re too good for me. But I was always honest about my feelings for you.

I hope you’ll find true happiness one day. That’s the only way I’ll ever be happy—knowing you’re okay.

I’m sorry—

Charlie

PS—don’t let your blackjack game go to crap. Practice it every day, all right?

Author Bio

Jessica Peterson began reading romance to escape the decidedly unromantic awkwardness of her teenage years. Having found solace in the likes of Mr. Darcy, Jamie Fraser (OMG love the gingers!), and Edward Cullen, it wasn’t long before she began creating tall, dark and handsome heroes of her own.

She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Mr. Peterson, and her smelly Goldendoodle Martha Bean. She is the author of the super sexy STUDY ABROAD and FLINGS WITH KINGS series. Check her out at www.jessicapeterson.com

Four Stars

Jane and Charlie's story was sizzling from the first page.

Jane is a divorced princess. Charlie is a con. These two couldn't be more different.

I loved Jane's character. She was bold, brave, and always spoke her mind. She had been so damaged after her divorce, that she was out to prove she had found herself and didn't need a man.

Charlie was family oriented, devoted, and hard working. He would do anything for his mom and brother. Even if it meant betraying the girl he loved.

Charlie and Jane's story was super sweet and gradual. They loved each other even though neither one of them wanted it to happen. The chemistry between them was off the charts and you could tell they were meant to be together.

I cannot get enough of this royal family. They are so down to earth. Their Sunday dinners playing Monopoly are some of my favorite scenes. The banter and scheming that takes place is absolutely hilarious.

I am hoping Jack's story is next. I cannot wait to see how his Whitney Houston moment turns out.
