Meet P. Dangelico

Dangelico loves romance in all forms, cuddly creatures (four legged and two), really bloody sexy pulp, the NY Jets (although she’s reconsidering after this season), and to while away the day at the barn (apparently she does her best thinking shoveling horse crap). Maren is a professional tennis player. She has devoted her entire life to her career. Noah was Maren's ex-boyfriend from back home who broke her heart into a million pieces. 

When Maren learns of her grandfather's death, she has no choice but to visit the town that witnessed her most embarrassing breakup.

This book was so emotional and beautifully written. You get to see these two grow from lanky, awkward kids to teenagers, to adults. Their love had changed and gone through many stages over the years until it was destroyed.

This slow burn romance where secrets are slowly revealed and Noah tries his best to gain forgiveness was such an amazing journey. You learn that love conquers all, and if you love someone enough, you need to let them go.

This is the second book in the series, but can be read as a standalone.

I cannot wait to get Maren's sister's book. Bebe's story is on that needs to be told, and I am so excited to see if the Chief of Police can break her out of her shell.
