Five Stars
Winter reminded me so much of Rika in this book. They both are strong characters who have given up being scared and has decided to take things into their own hands. Winter went through so much, and she still never lost her true self. She was going to do things her way with or without anyone’s help.
Damon was so different than I was expecting. He has so many layers that he only shows to certain characters. It’s almost like he opens himself more and more, but only with certain people...his people. I was so glad to see that the generous, loving Damon was there all along. He was just hidden by pain and hurt!
I loved getting to see all of the other characters and getting updates in their lives. They are such a vital part of this book and the overall storyline continues. If you haven’t read Corrupt or Hideaway, I highly recommend you do before reading this book.
