Five Stars
I absolutely loved this book. Brenna and Jake have been skirting around each other for awhile, and now we finally get to see what happens when they collide!
Brenna is a such a great heroine. She is sure of herself as a person and as a friend. The only thing she second guesses is her choices when it comes to guys and her father. You can tell the past has really played a part in how she conducts herself.
Jake is very cocky and outgoing. He is all about hockey and doesn’t need outside distractions. He is very supportive of his friends and tries to be the leader everyone admires.
These two are perfect for each other. Neither person tries to change one another. They also support each other even when it is not expected or earned.
As always, we get a glimpse of the other characters in the series. Their stories are starting to unfold and have made me want their books immediately. I cannot wait to continue to find out more about these Briar and Harvard boys!
