 Throne of Lies

 This was such a wonderful prequel to Legacy of Lies. Tripp and Jolie's relationship was such a sweet, young love that turned into a mess at the end. Tripp was way more than I expected. He truly loved Jolie from the start and always had her best interest at heart.

 I can't say much more of I will spoil the twists, but just know this...the ending is going to leave you with your mouth hanging wide open and with so many questions. WHY? HOW? WHO? AHHHH! I need answers immediately.

Legacy of Lies

Tripp has been building his business since his father's business and his inheritance was all based on lies. Jolie has made it big as a model and is wanting to start her own business. These two have avoided New York since the incident, but they both know they need to move on with their lives. 


 Tripp has always loved Jolie, and even though he tries, he can never hate her like he wants. He can't when he knows he is keeping secrets from her. 

 Jolie is stuck and is trying to get over Tripp after all these years. However, it is impossible to forget him when she is keeping her biggest accomplishment from him. 

 When their paths cross, their chemistry is stronger than ever. They are true sole mates, but have a lot of resentment that stands in their way. They know they have always belonged together, but somethings aren't as easy as they seem.

 The twists and turns in this book had me rooting for this couple to get their HEA. I always knew something was up, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what would occur. The fact that these two stood united made the story that much more enjoyable.

 I absolutely loved this book about love that overcame emotional events and came out stronger than ever. Tara's writing is absolutely phenomenal, and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for the future.
